To me, this album is not only a great debut album. Heart, in my opinion, were probably the last great rock band that formed before the advent of disco, new wave, MOR, and punk, and this album shows them the best. Heart was certainly more than just "Arena Rock" brand, which, unfortunately, thrown into a pot, and were certainly more of Ann and Nancy Wilson and a few guys that I am, I say sorry for what has been a heart Since 1980, the sound of the heart, in fact,Likewise, the Arena Rock, Hair Metal, and Adult Contemporary.

The original, Ann Wilson – lead singer and flute player extraordinare, Nancy Wilson on rhythm and acoustic guitars, Roger Fisher on guitar, Steve Fossen on bass, the multi-talented Howard Leese on second guitar, keyboards and string arrangements and Mike Derosier on drums, creating a sound that seemed to heart and, in fact, the album Dreamboat Annie, the highest point of rock and roll. EqualPart of the harsh sounds of the next Led Zeppelin, Deep Purple, The Who and Black Sabbath, the sensitivity folk of Joni Mitchell, Judy Collins and Joan Baez, the command stunning pop harmony and order in the great tradition of The Beatles, The Beach Boys and Crosby Stills Nash & Young, and the real innovation of progressive rock groups like Yes, The Moody Blues, Genesis and Jethro Tull. Heart Sound seemed to synthesize all the elements, but they are quite original.
What Dreamboat Annie, this is definitely their best album. The next 3 albums by the original cast have done everything in their moments of pure genius ( "Barracuda", "Mistral Wind," "heartless," "Love Alive" … just to name all those moments …), lacking the cohesion of Dreamboat Annie. Every single song on this album is pure genius, even the hits ( "Magic Man," "Crazy on You" and the song title) are great songs, and in no way diminutive for deeper cuts, or the flow ofThe album, thus affecting many parents have their albums.

For me, this album does not age, because every time I hear it, I have new layers of meaning or hear details in recordings that I have never collected before, which is like a great album to be found. And on a band out there today, trying to actually achieve something like that, and in fact will be a difficult task, given the absence of sonic details and lyrical, rampant in music today.
