For those who do not are sent back to the original in the collection: Warner Home this volume (No. 2) their Tom and Jerry collection Spotlight edited four short films that are quite contrary to the point of sale for these volumes as "uncut-release" and fully restored.
After a great cry from the community in general collector, WH released now and then the volume-sans the above modifications are returned to their original theatrical versions. The shorts were concerned "'sLonesome Mouse, "" Polka-Dot Cat, "" Saturday Night Cat "and" Nit-Witty Kitty "- Everything has changed in the 60 original voice talent from Lillian Randolph (aka" Mammy Two Shoes replace remove ") and Chuck mate Jones' June Foray, in an attempt to weaken some of the pure racial stereotypes rife in most of the original shorts released.
"Lonesome Mouse, et al, have returned to their non-PC hilarity in this record correct, although there are legitimateComplaints of visual quality, when these shorts were pushed back problems in other short films on the discs is not a problem editing. But for me, it was all worth the wait.
(As a last note: Beware! I want to be sure that those who seek re-release, the unmodified version of vol. 2, actually get their hands on the right! On face cover version of "correct, Tom is Cover the bottom of the left direction, as he tries to swipe at Jerry, for most (if not,ALL) sells modified versions of both on-line store and in some dusty boxes, Tom is toward the upper right corner of the cover face, when Jerry runs away with a piece of cheese.
