Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers are responsible for some of the most infectious songs and critically-acclaimed albums of all time. Join these legendary Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees for a blistering live performance of their hits – along with rare unreleased songs in this tour de force of American Roots Music that affirms their status as rock royalty. Contains 22 songs plus 9 bonus tracks.
First, this concert looks just beautiful in high-definition. You can see all the details in the Indian rugs on which the band stands, for instance. It also sounds pretty darn good, too, thanks to the terrific musicians in Tom Petty’s band. Mike Campbell on lead guitar and Benmont Tench on keyboards were particularly good, I thought.

Petty has never had that good a voice but yet he’s interesting to hear and he comes across as a real likable guy. All of the group’s members, which also include bassist Ron Blair and guitar-harmonic-harmony vocals Scott Thurston and drummer Steve Ferrone all look like they’re having a good time. I suspect they usually do when they’re playing.

Everybody has their favorites songs of each artist and group and, at least in this concert, mine was “Melinda,” which featured fantastic piano by Tench and an interesting guitar sound from Campbell. You can’t go wrong either with rock “oldies” like “Baby, Please Don’t Go” and “Born In Chicago,” “Red Rooster” and “I Got A Woman.” There is a good mix of fast and slow, rock and blues and ballads…..all adding up to an entertaining show.

Michael McDonald is joined by Doobie Brothers Tom Johnston and Patrick Simmons for an evening performing his solo hits, including songs from his hit Motown album as well as Doobie classics What A Fool Believes and Taking It To the Limit. I am for this concert as a Blu Ray I write listening to music, you feel as if I'm in the audience front row. What a great concert DVDs! This is the blue ray as it should sound and look. If you're a fan or Doobie Brothers Michael McDonald Please do not miss these concerts are blue ray. It 'hard to find. The concert is a day of sound production and can in most grocery stores Sears (yes, you have to be read correctly) and found online. This is a great looking and a must for any fan!

History rocked and rock made history
during a sold-out three-gig stand at
Madison Square Garden in late February 2008 when icons Eric Clapton and Steve Winwood performed a concert together
for the first time since their all-too-brief days in the legendary Blind Faith in 1969. Whether they will ever team again is unknown. But with Eric Clapton and Steve Winwood Live From Madison Square Garden, on this Blu Ray, fans everywhere are able to experience the sound and the glory of a performance on that famous stage by two of rock’s greatest artists.
When Eric Clapton and Steve Winwood coraborated for this project that make it really correct. As a longtime fan of both artists, without feeling I knew there would be an excellent record! I was right that was not a single song that disappionts. Eric Clapton taste "Lord of the Strings" is undergoing a major transformation of sorts. I will explain my thoughts I have of him prosecuted Bluesbreakers from preschool all the way until today. I always loved theBlues and blues guitar, because it allows the artist with the chops and taste to reveal a sensitivity to music as a subject of "Lifesong" too. The cry of ecxtasy who betray the triumph of love, feelings like love lost, the remorse of love, revenge and ultimately sweet retribution. When the capacity of an artist Clapton learned the importance of representation of "Song of Life" of music that is obtained, which is very rare! I've always been a fan of Steve Winwood contribution to this projectNo less important. Perfection, no, not quite, but close CUDOS two performers! Moreover, the fact that the execution-you seemed to enjoy playing together almost as much as I like, I hear them playing together was refreashing.
In our world of everything and anything for a dollar, it was nice to see that the money was not the only problem in doing this project. Oh, and by the way my e-mail reads: @ dblues Opton line.net I opted for the e-mail name, because I am and always will probibly Bluesafectionado!

Bonus footage of four songs added for their 2008 American tour, including “Ghost of a Chance,” filmed here for the first time.

Since the release of their eponymous first LP in 1974, Rush has continually expanded the definition of “progressive power trio.” Guitarist Alex Lifeson, bassist/keyboardist/vocalist Geddy Lee and drummer/lyricist Neil Peart combine dazzling virtuosity, laser-beam intensity and unbridled creativity to create a cohesive whole that’s infinitely greater than its parts. The Toronto-based group has become one of Canada’s leading exports, with a catalog of genre-defining releases including 2112, Permanent Waves, Moving Pictures, Vapour Trails and Snakes & Arrows and a live show which combines musicianship, showmanship and multi-media effects that engage all the senses. I have the SD version of this concert when it was released (do not have the time to BD). Although I have no complaints about the SD version – The BD-SD version totally blows it out the door! It 'almost like seeing him on for the first time, I swear! The difference in the video is great, but the difference in sound is amazing. Among the other guests had complained of problems with synchronization, but I have the experience of all. And 'as if in reality there are! It 'really nice to have the entire program in 1Disc 3 on SD otherwise. I suspect that would lend itself well to Blu Ray, music shows and I was not totally disappointed, to say the least. This stage hands are working extra hard to keep clean the instruments, as you can see every point or fingerprints, to be kind of fun! And if you think that Rush is my all time favorite band (actually privileged / lucky encounter during their "Moving Pictures" tour again) during the day, this makes it only more beautiful.

If you have a decent HD setup (I have less than $ 2,000 invested in my setup – including TV – is nothingFantasia), and you're a fan of the band – GET THIS BD – Do not be disappointed! Good set-list, big audience, and combine for an impressive performance, "can not miss" BD! 220 minutes pure pleasure – Enjoy!

I wonder why more "Classic Rock" artists / groups (I have contempt for this term!) They did the material in BD? Given the razor-sharp image of BD, perhaps, his wrinkles are too obvious?

I am a guy who watches a lot of DVDs of concerts and I must say that this is one of my favorites that I saw. The sound and video quality is simply amazing, and not really feel anything. I think the best thing about this concert, which is basically their "best of" collection, at least to the general public. Of course there are some songs that were omitted, which had the hardcore fans wanted to hear, but overall I am impressed with. I think that was the moment INot dancing in my living room, with the volume almost at full speed! You can not just silently watching. It 'a truly great thing to have in your collection, especially if you're a fan!

I also like this concert, so I watch television every day.
Of course, Jeff Beck is the player most famous and powerful guitar of all ages.
But I found even the best players as a field Wilen beautiful valley, a nice game, but solid bass, Joss Stone, and my dream of the artist Eric Clapton.
I would recommend this show for people who love music.

If you liked the first DVD, then love this one, with the addition of games that have little of their city proves adequate. The singer is just as good as Tracy Bonham was, even though the pretty girl with the incredible voice of Venus Hum surely missed. I was thrilled to Pink Floyd "One Of These Days" you will find included here, as the performance of this song in a live show blew away.

If you have not seen the first live DVD, or seen Blue Man Group, andespecially when percussion, this DVD / Blu-ray the value of the purchase price. Just keep in mind, the DVD includes an audio CD of the show, while the Blu-ray does not. Rhino site was very clear on this, and refused to resolve the situation other than to give me a refund. I did not want a refund, I wanted the CD, I expected. Bad, Bad marketing company, excellent DVD / Blu-ray.
