I have always stated that no Simon and Garfunkel fan. Importance, for the most part, do nothing for me. But I do not mean that there is no time and place for everything. Sometimes, Simon and Garfunkel are just what you need. If so, I have this album by Simon and Garfunkel. The Sounds Of Silence.

The title track has always held me when I heard. For the duration of two minutes, I block. Although I was very young, I could see the beauty inSong.

Now anyone can go more often I visit some friends in town. Normally, when I will do this (I take two trains here), I spent the night on my way back, the navigation is too much for a job. These Friends of Mine does not seem to be able to drink beer with my steadily rises up the Sun, and at some point in the night, I will be alone in the living room, drinking or what's left of my beer and found rummagingrecords. In a particularly drunken night I threw this disc on the turntable and crank it … I realized that the title track just the beginning. Almost every song is equally if not more, better looking than the first.

This is a fine blend of style here, and indeed (in my opinion of course), accompianment the best showcase of talented and Simon and Garfunkel harmonies solid. I smell of attic dust on the record covers only think about it, butlike when at least fifteen beers deep in wet nights.

Recorded 1968-1970 and includes ‘Susie Q’, ‘I Put a Spell on You’, ‘Proud Mary’, ‘Bad Moon Rising’, ‘Lodi’, ‘Green River’, ‘Commotion’, ‘Down on the Corner’, ‘Fortunate Son’, ‘Travelin’ Band’, ‘Who’ll Stop the Rain’, ‘Up Around the Bend’, ‘Run Through the Jungle’, ‘Lookin’ Out My Back Door’, ‘Long as I Can See the Light’, ‘I Heard It Through the Grapevine’, ‘Have You Ever Seen the Rain?’, ‘Hey Tonight’, ‘Sweet Hitch-Hiker’ & ‘Someday Never Comes’. Fantasy label. 1991.
Who would have thought? For me sound like a group that should come from Louisiana or Southern Mississippi because of their deep swamps of the Delta blues-rock sound.

This CD can be improved just a little 'can be better. I see that gives us the full version of "I heard through the" Grapevine, but I really lost the full version of "Suzie Q" as I have always known. I never felt like it was cut short here, and there is no excuse for this. Wouldstand on this CD, but also to have even a bonus track as "Born on a Bayou" or "Midnight Special.

Well, I think I'll just take what they give us and gather my shortcomings and make my own CD Chronicles seconds. The Chronicles second CD, which came out, well, I laugh. The second half of "Suzie Q?" What a joke! I do my 2-CD "Best of Creedence Clearwater Revival," as I need, "Ramble Tamble", "on Chooglin" hold and alsoTwo other tracks that I just mentioned, there are several other great tracks. Hell, I was a second collection on John Fogerty "Rock and Roll Girls" included, "Centerfold" and "The Old Man Down the Road" in 1984. It 's so easy to make a second CD of the CCR complete this new version of Chronicles. So, thank you for the effort anyway.

The great thing is that the BEP each CD come out with is better than the next. The sounds are always different and fun. When I hear the BEP I feel like I'm the kind of music people made 100 years ago our generation to listen. I must admit, part of Fergie sing every song is my favorite thing to do. Especially in songs like "Boom Boom Pow" and "Borderline / Meet Me Half Way". Ive been singing like a new hobby so I bought this overProduct Voice Lessons To Go Volume 1: Product and breath sounds. Check it out, its great if you like singing and I want to learn some technique. Also, I forgot to say that this CD is awesome for parties! Enjoy!

Michael Jackson's 1982 album "Thriller" remains a definitive statement of energy and very creative music. Although the title of the song brilliant for the audience jump as strong declaration itself, but also relatively popular songs for their innovations added.

"Want to Be Starting Something", the album begins with a twist, a song seemingly effortless in its construction and so meticulous in its musical and lyrical layers for listenersI guess you probably need to work hard. Furthermore, "The Girl Is Mine" is a very nice light pop collaboration Jackson and Paul McCartney. The line of classic songs from "Thriller" in a string overflows for about four songs in the middle of the album, from the incredibly atmospheric "Thriller" itself. This current Staples Jackson "Beat It" "Billie Jean" and the slow, lyrical impeccable "Human Nature". As if these gems were not enough, relatively forgotten songs from "Thriller" are solid, such as "Baby Be Mine" and "The Lady In My Life."

Co-Quincy Jones, Michael Jackson's "Thriller" returned the singer appeared on the threshold of absolute dominance of American popular music, and retains the imprint of his time, while maintaining the vitality of all time.

Rating Reviews :

Mose Allison’s ANTI- debut The Way of the World marks his return to the recording studio after a 12 year absence. Working with maverick producer Joe Henry, Allison has found his most sympathetic setting in years, surrounded by young, vibrant players, who add surprising slide guitar and some sinewy saxophone to the classic Mose sound.
If you're a Mose Allison, you're probably as happy as me, we have another album of this great musician. If you have not bought, do not hesitate. But if you're new work Allison is questionable whether this is the starting point. Well, you can not go wrong with Allison Wonderland: Anthology, which contains great songs too many to list here, but you could also do well to start with the way the World.

None of the new tracks here enough increase in the level of Allisonbetter job, but the bitter "Modest Proposal" and "The Way tired of the world" (co-author with Joe Henry) approach. Most other materials – a combination of new models, re-recordings, covers, and – even stronger. Loudon Wainwright "I'm Alright" and Amy Allison "Everyone thinks you're an angel, in particular, are well chosen, Allisonesque compositions that fit perfectly into their own work Allison. (Daughter of Amy Allison, an artist also contributes a full songon a cover of Buddy Johnson's "This new situation." Sounds like a cross between Victoria Williams and Blossom Dearie, and the effect of their singing voice is very scary.)

What really distinguishes this album is that producer Joe Henry has created what might be the best sounding album yet Allison. The warm and clean sound is very similar to that of Henry's own album, but also adapts Allison. And Henry has a cast of professionals (including the ubiquitous Jay mountedBelle Rose on drums and percussion), Allison performance, without ever improving their own way. Compare the versions of "Ask Me Nice" and "Let It Come Down", listen here with recordings of older songs themselves, the difference. We are all guilty of persuasion Allison Henry back in the studio, but twice the work for its production of taste.

Not Too Late

New York City

Before purchasing this CD, I read a decent amount of early reviews. It really shocked me how many people have said that their CD is so slow and boring and could not sleep.

Norah Jones is very talented, and I do not say that ever made a bad CD. Although this CD is certainly different from her other, not bad for them in any way, shape or form. Every song has a very different music I absolutely admire them for exploration.

The first timeHe listened to their CD I was at work and had little attention, I noticed that in any case, it was more "beat" of other music I had heard. But once I took it home and have no distractions, I'm in love with every song. Norah Jones explores musical enough to have no other albums to explore, and while the pace of the songs can be slower than most mainstream music, it does not mean that it is terrible – do not know how much clearer I can pointtoward it.

It 'really excited I only read the CD after listening to "bad reviews" here and see how people can be cynical, because they have such expectations. It's not what music is – music is talented and exploration and change, is not optimistic, and the same thing is getting done. Norah Jones has sought new musical elements of this CD, and to welcome them, not criticized. That is all.

Oh, and by the way – my personal favoriteSong of this CD is Sinkin 'soon:)

Rating Reviews :

In a post-Seattle Sound rock world, there’s still a hunger for music that’s dark, dirgelike, and heavy. And the void left by Soundgarden and company is being filled by a spate of bands, including Boston’s Godsmack, who even nicked their name from an Alice in Chains song. Like Creed and Days of the New, Godsmack are raging and disenfranchised, as singer Sully Erna’s lyrics illustrate: “I am in a living hell / Makes me wonder if I’m alive” or “You’re pathetic in your own way / I don’t like you anyway.” Though the territory being mined isn’t new, Godsmack’s grungy grooves, potent energy, and strong hooks are irresistible. With a dash of Tool and a smattering of Filter seeping through, Godsmack are on the money, especially on “Whatever,” the tantalizing “Get Up, Get Out!,” and the strident and syncopated “Bad Religion,” on which Erna puts one in mind of James Hetfield. While Godsmack’s approach may not be fresh, the foursome’s strong songs and powerful energy are still intensely tasty–especially for those with a taste for songs on the sober–but never staid–side. –Katherine Turman
Godsmack are one of my favorite rock / metal band since I first saw in her when I was 17 years (I'm 25 in September). Their debut album, which is already published in 1998 one of my favorite rock cd I heard was, and I still like listening to a lot. Your follow-up album "Awake" 2000 and "Faceless" from 2003 are both great albums as well (I did not "IV" yet), but this album is the best Godsmack had to offer. Godsmack areone of the few groups that nu metal feel sometimes, but really do not consider them a nu metal band. On this album you will not find, no knock, no DJ, no turntables, no guest singer, just pure heart pumps straight hard rock / heavy metal, laden with tons of rage and energy. This album is also great, especially if you have a bad day or if you just listen for pleasure rocking out. Sully Erna voice are just strong, intense andsurprising. He may let some big screams and growls, but also has a great melodic singing as well. Tony's guitar riffs are definitely intense Rambola your blood pumping and the heart, such as nuts, solos and even a bit '. Robbie Merrill pounds get away with some great bass lines that the pulse beat, and Tommy Stewert's drumming is solid and booming rocking with pure energy. Every song here is great, the opener "Baby Moon" is definitely one of my all timefavorite songs, which begins here with some dialogue from "Mysterious Forces Beyond", and then kicked in the works sung with slow, heavy, crunching riffs and some great voice from Sully, and later as the song progresses and is' faster with more Fast pumping riffs and pounding drum beats fast and crashes it flat and dead moshing away like crazy. "Whatever" one of the best songs here are just as another one of my favorites, so that is very addictiveto boot with riffs a lot more aggressive, bigger voice Sully, and a large choir. The third track "Keep Away" is another of the most popular songs Godsmack and my favorite track here. The chorus is very addictive and very sing-along, and the riffs and solos Tony is too large. Other favorites are "Bad Religion", "Time Bomb", "Stress," Get Up, Get Out! "Now or Never" and, of course, the classic closer, "Voodoo," which is slower in the Middle EastSong flavor that plays a groovy drums marked with groovy bass lines and guitars and vocals from the great Sully. This song is another of the most popular songs and Godsmack is another favorite as well. Please read the song list and ratings.
Jeremy song ratings:
First Moon Baby (4:23) – 5:05
According Whatever (3:25) – 5:05
Third Keep Away (4:50) – 5:05 My favorite song here
Fourth Time Bomb (3:59) – 5:05
Fifth Bad Religion (3:13) – 5:05
Immune sixth (04:49) -5.5
Seventh Someone in London (2:03) – 5:04
8th Get Up, Get Out! (3:29) – 5:05
Nono's now or never (5:06) – 5:05
10th Stress (5:03) – 5:05
11 Situation (5:47) – 5:05
12 ° Voodoo (9:03) – 05:05 Remember, this song actually ends at 4:39 and there is a hidden track clock 06:40 and ends at 9.03.

If you are looking for some awesome, straight foward, in the face, the heart pumps makes Hard Rock / Heavy Metal, that / rap rock look like yesterday's news, then self-titled GodsmackAlbum is very interesting hard rock / heavy metal collection. I also recommend "Awake" and "Faceless" as well. Of course, this may not be as brutal or the most original piece of work, but it's still great stuff. Enjoy!

Rating Reviews :

Boston’s Passion Pit is the brainchild of Michael Angelakos. A songwriter’s songwriter drawing from a variety of influences, from the classic pop of Randy Newman to the synth work of Giorgio Moroder.

The Chunk of Change EP was originally put together as a (belated) Valentine’s Day present to Angelakos girlfriend which then prompted him to give it out to friends and fellow students at Emerson College. Angelakos wrote and recorded the entire record by himself and it only hints at what is to come from this extremely talented perfectionist. The production of the recording – brief, sporadic, and explosive – worked towards the development of Angelakos signature euphoric and blissfully melancholic sound. Frenchkiss Records will reissue the ep this fall with the addition of two bonus tracks Better Things and Sleepyhead that are already catching the online world on fire. All of this is in preparation for Passion Pit s debut full length coming out in early 2009.

Playing as a five piece live, Passion Pit has already blown away audiences opening up for Death Cab For Cutie, Girl Talk, These New Puritans and more. Also winning the WFNX/Boston Phoenix Best Music Poll as the Best New Local Act of 2008, Passion Pit hopes to bring their soulful dance explosion to your town this fall.
Passion Pit idea of Michael Angelakos, is one of the largest sums in 2009, unlike that of indie bands are not out there (not to say that we have created, Vampire Weekend last year) with its acclaimed debut album, " ways. But before "manners", was this EP. urban legend has it that a tape made Angelakos as Valentine gift for his girlfriend (the first four tracks here), which was then passed around, and finally landed on Frenchkiss Records.

I'm sure among manyWho is listening to 'chunk of change "(6 tracks, 29 min.) After they died for" manners. "As such, this EP is a real look at the growth of a band. All these songs were recorded in March / April 2007 (and released this EP in autumn 2008). It really sounds like the feeling of a band (one-man band at the time) and try searching. Take for example the opener "I've Got Your Number, "which, like a boy needling at home with his computer and keyboards (which soundswhat must have been like). Smile Upon Me swings "much better. "Cuddle hangover" is one of the highlights here, with a trippy Mellotron melody (or a good rest of it). Not surprisingly, the last two of the best tracks here are: "Better Things", I remember the first Jackson 5 of all things (if electronic) and "night-cap," the best song here (and the only song on the album " ways of being included).

In all, this is a must for anyPassion Pit fan. Sure, the album "Good manners is better, but this is exactly the Parliament can also be found. I went to see Passion Pit at Bonnaroo a couple of weeks ago, but events beyond my control prevent me, but I'll see these guys at Monolith Music Festival (Red Rocks outside of Denver) in September. Can not wait.

Download Crosby, Stills & Nash (1st Album, Expanded and Remastered) MP3

Rating Reviews :

One of the most enduring musical partnerships of our time, Rock and Roll Hall of Famers Crosby, Stills & Nash are revered for their peerless vocal harmonies, inspired songwriting and musical virtuosity. When the trio first sang together at a friend’s Laurel Canyon house in 1968, their uncanny harmonic convergence was immediately apparent, and CSN took shape. Each member came to the new venture from other high-profile bands-Crosby from the Byrds, Stills from Buffalo Springfield, and Nash from the Hollies-and together, they formed that rarest of musical entities, a “supergroup” that lived up to its billing. CSN’s 1969 self-titled debut album is one of the true masterpieces of the rock ‘n’ roll canon, and 1982’s Daylight Again is a brilliant portrait of their musical evolution. Still touring and recording together, CSN is an American treasure.
First of all, have you ever heard, "Suite: Judy Blue Eyes?" Because this is a song and a half, my good friend. It 's the best song the group ever made in one of its various combinations, and that's really saying something because I like a lot of songs CSNY. But this is head and shoulders, even the best of their incredible songs that say more or less it is. As the title suggests, is a suite in four parts, and a variety absolutely fantastic. The first part is incredibly energetic andcatchy. Then you have my favorite, the second part slow. The group is a deep groove and dreamy harmonized? "What I have to lose" perfect segments, Stills and do this trick with impressive double-tracking and echo – you get a "Hey" on the channel, another "hey" shortly after the canal in front, and a third "Hey , once again in the first. And right after he delivers the best vocal performance of his career, completely under the spotlightwith the adoption of a full-on Soul Man The voice part is awesome … "I can say things as they are? Listen to me, is my baby … HEAAAAAAAAAAART to die and this is what I have to lose!" Especially the way he sings "Heart", an extension of eleven syllables, as in a falsetto Kick-Butt. And he makes it look easy. Steve Stills is a very good singer.

In any case, the third part it seems that you'd hear at a Renaissance Festival, and I like it! This section is only the mostlove is not poetic song written by Smokey Robinson, who I have ever heard. And then there's fun, inflatable, half Latin "do do do do Doot Doot Doot Doot" part of the rules. I like the random aspect Stills' host Spanish! And even if pretentious for an apartment, the song is never. It is mostly acoustic, it will not just random, and is a great sing-along melody.

Stills wrote it and of course, is the star of the record: he wrote not only as co-author, or half of the melodies, but also plays guitar, bass and organ, if necessary. He is also one of three singers, but we knew, but I know that Graham Nash and David Crosby to go with the winners, too! Crosby uncanny "Geneva" is an example – the choruses are beautiful three-part harmony, and the way Crosby Stills Nash and support during the verses is awesome. And I love the voice Crosby. Actually I love all three ratings boy. Dave and co-author, along with stills and Paul Katner JeffersonAirplane, The Haunting, dramatic anti-war epic, "Wooden Ships", in Moody organ, heavy guitars, vocal trade-off between Crosby and Stills, and a perfectly harmonized chorus, this is my favorite song here, except the suite. And Crosby evil hippie-rocker "Long Time Gone" is a piece first and again because of these harmonies! And Crosby vocals!

Graham Nash adds a solid psychedelic pop song "Marrakesh Express" and the decent acoustic ballad "Lady ofthe Island.” Neither of the two is as good as Nash’s two songs from Déjà vu, but I love “Marrakesh!” It’s so cute! And, I mean, try not singing along with it! “Lady of the Island…” I could take or leave it. But those vocal harmonies Crosby adds near the end sure are pretty. Same deal with “Pre-Road Downs,” an okay but unspectacular country-rocker.

But yeah, back to my point about how Steve Stills wrote most of these songs. He’s given the sole credit to “Suite: Judy Blue Eyes,” “You Don’t Have to Cry,” “Pre-Road Downs,” “Helplessly Hoping,” and “49 Bye-Byes,” and I can safely say I like all of those songs but “Pre-Road Downs” a lot. I already talked about “Suite: Judy Blue Eyes” (by the way, isn’t it a bit disappointing when a band’s best song ever is also the first song on their first album?) and “Pre-Road Downs” (meh), and I can safely say I love the other four. “You Don’t Have to Cry” is arguably the catchiest song, which is saying a lot. It’s so hard not to sing long! It is so funny!

On the contrary, "Powerless hope" is probably attempting Stills' to draw a "Guinevere" of their own – is repeating itself, medieval acoustic guitar figure, the same feeling hypnotic, got the same excellent harmonies, and the same semi-poetic texts. And in fact almost over, especially in that part, when Stills ", sings a person," Nash, "adds are only two," added Crosby, and "are three of us." I think Stills wrote the textan exercise in alliteration, as well: the first five words are "helplessly hoping her harlequin hovers …," a song later to be" heartless help themselves, and there is a reference to a "lady who lingers.

However, it was not as "sleep 49", but you know what took me about it? Two things: the harmonies of the chorus (it was not so clear, or what), and the rate of shift between verse and chorus. tempo changes are cool! And, of course, the voices on this and the twothe entire disk is among the most inventive I've ever heard. These three could harmonize like no other. In terms of harmonies, this is definitely the best Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young can record in history and in relation to the songs, it is likely to win. "Suite: Judy Blue Eyes," the man … "Wooden Ships", also … and hey, who "can forget Marrakesh Express" in terms of pure fun goofy? For the record, "Suite: Judy Blue Eyes" and "Marrakesh Express" were big hits, and this is a greatDebut!

Digitally remastered and expanded edition of the historic, Grammy-winning 1988 debut album from the legendary super group of musical “brothers”: George Harrison, Tom Petty, Roy Orbison, Jeff Lynne and Bob Dylan. Features two bonus tracks: ‘Maxine’ and ‘Like A Ship’. Rhino. 2008.
This album has brought some serious memories for me. Sure, it was a bad time, but it was music like this that got me through it.

When I put the disc into my player and heard the familiar notes I knew by heart, it seemed that all was well with the world.

I used to have this on tape, but I've heard so much that I literally wore off. I looked for the Music Store Music Store, and spent many hours of searching online for a copy. The best thing I could find was neverone on eBay for a price to three digits. I love this record, but not so much.

Finally, it appeared on Amazon, and I put in my shopping cart. It would pass above and below one dollar every few days, until one day there was a couple of bucks and I thought it would never lower, so I clicked away.

The sound quality is just my CD drive that is just your average player factory. I do not remember if the mastery of recent or not, but to be honest, I do not care ifIt looked like a scratchy LP. The only thing that I disagree with is the bonus track. I remember this album as he was distracted distraction and I find the extra songs from the album and in fact, because they are not so good. They seem somehow … misplaced.

Still worth the price. Gonna Miss Roy and George, though. There will never be another project like the Wilburys.

Oh, and for the record (no pun), is the extra tracks that reflected four stars.
